How to Choose the Right Karting Suit Size

A karting suit should feel snug without restricting movement. Here is how to get the fit right the first time.

Measure before you order

  • Chest: measure around the fullest part, under the arms.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waistline.
  • Height: stand straight without shoes.
  • Inseam: measure from the crotch to the ankle.

Check the fit

You should be able to sit in a racing position, reach the steering wheel and turn it fully without the suit pulling across your shoulders or back. Sleeves and legs should end near the wrist and ankle so they don't catch on the kart.

Between sizes?

If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one for comfort and mobility. Wear the layers you normally race in when you measure, since thick underlayers change the fit.

Juniors

Young drivers grow quickly, so check the size details on each junior product and measure again before every order.
